Connecting people and planet: Tree planting commitment
Every placement we make helps someone grow in their career and it also helps grow a greener planet. As part of our sustainability commitment, in June 2024 we committed to planting a tree for every candidate we place in a role.
We planted the first 700 trees during June and July last year as part of our team off-site days at our Founder's (Nikki Beaumont) Byron Plantation Property in the Byron Hinterland. The trees are sourced through a local charity, Friends of the Koalas. The charity sell sub tropical and eucalyptus trees to help raise money for the charity, whilst at the same time planting trees for the koalas in the area.
Their work includes rescuing and rehabilitating koalas, running a community nursery that grows native trees (including critical koala food trees) and restoring vital habitats to ensure these incredible animals thrive.
We believe that thriving communities and a thriving environment go hand in hand. Planting trees reflects our broader purpose: to give back, to regenerate and to leave every place better than we found it.
Through responsible sourcing and community-focused planting partnerships, we’re proud to support local ecosystems and help build a greener, healthier future for all.
Partnerships with purpose
True impact is not achieved alone. We strategically partner with organisations that will help in our ambition to create meaningful work and environments where we can foster psychological safety so people can thrive.
