We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Storeman to work with the warehouse manager. This role will be responsible for packing laminate sheets for national transport, managing incoming stock levels, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. This role requires close coordination with our Sydney-based Logistics Manager to ensure seamless incoming and outgoing orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist with warehouse move which will take place across December and January.
- Pack laminate sheets for safe and efficient transport to various national locations.
- Monitor and manage incoming stock, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage.
- Maintain an organized warehouse layout for easy access and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with the Sydney and Melbourne-based Logistics Manager to coordinate all logistics activities.
- Liaising directly with freight company to book and manage freight consignments.
- Will be responsible for client sample inventory and working with the sales team to deliver/post samples as required.
- Work effectively within a small team, contributing to team efforts and assisting with laminate lamination and fabrication lines when needed.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, with a valid forklift license.
- Forklift License (mandatory).
- Car licence required.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and stock management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination with the logistics manager.
- Attention to detail and care when packing orders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
