As the Trusts & Foundations Coordinator , you will play a central role in securing philanthropic support that enables these services to thrive. This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to build, shape and grow a Trusts & Foundations portfolio - developing compelling grant applications, strengthening funder relationships, and ensuring highโ€‘quality reporting and stewardship.

You will work closely with the Fundraising and Marketing/Communications teams, supported by external agency partners, to deliver a coordinated, strategic approach to philanthropic revenue.

In this role, you will

• Identify new Trusts & Foundations prospects and inspire them to support Parkinson’s NSW
• Develop donor cultivation and management plans for new and existing funders
• Draft clear, persuasive and evidenceโ€‘based grant applications and proposals
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather information, data and impact insights
• Prepare accurate acquittal and performance reports for funders, management and the Board
• Monitor and manage funding pipelines, timelines and compliance (with agency support)
• Maintain grant registers, track success rates and report progress regularly

About you

You’re a strategic, organised and articulate communicator who thrives in a role where storytelling meets data . You enjoy managing multiple projects , building strong relationships , and creating proposal narratives that highlight impact and opportunity. You bring initiative, curiosity and a genuine commitment to purposeโ€‘driven work.

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years experience preparing grants, tenders or proposal submissions
• Experience in a relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines, competing priorities and detailed information
• A proactive, selfโ€‘directed approach with strong team collaboration skills
• Confidence engaging with diverse stakeholders
