Role responsibilities
You will report to the Head of Supporter Services and play a critical role in providing exceptional donor service to existing and future supporters. You’ll engage with donors daily on multiple platforms and support retention programs and broader strategies alongside the Fundraising teams. You’ll enjoy working within the CRM to support with data and donations processing as well as system optimisation and process improvements.
- Complete Regular Giving donations processing (downloading recurring donations, processing declines, generating decline responses, processing in-house cancellations, importing telemarketing data acquisition/upgrades/conversions, processing face-to-face and online donations into the CRM and completing month-end reconciliation of direct deposits, resolving any bank disputes).
- Ensure accurate record-keeping, database administration and high-volume donations processing by multiple channels, ensuring data integrity is maintained.
- Complete ad-hoc data imports into the CRM, troubleshooting exceptions and errors.
- Undertake inbound/outbound calling and ensure SLAs are met, nurturing existing relationships with the highest levels of customer service and striving for first call resolution.
- Support with Community Fundraising donation processing, including payment reminders and acknowledgement letters to all fundraisers post campaign.
- Collaborate internally, sharing information, stories and donor feedback to the relevant internal stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
You will be driven to deliver an exceptional customer experience for donors and your internal stakeholders. You’ll be passionate about the mission of the organisation and improving existing systems and processes, enabling the best donor and user experience possible within the CRM.
- Excellent customer-service mindset with the ability to build strong relationships and connections with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Tech savviness with a high level of attention to detail in a high-volume transaction/processing environment, previous experience working within a CRM or relational database.
- Strong time management skills when actioning competing priorities – the ability to seamlessly swap between different tools and platforms to meet deadlines.
- A continuous improvement mindset when completing daily tasks, suggesting and implementing process improvements and automations where possible.
