With a strong footprint across regional Australia, the organisation champions the voices of its members, ensuring their views inform programs, strategy, and advocacy. As the Strategic Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing those voices to the forefront.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a remote team to deliver high-impact, regionally relevant engagement activities.
- Design and implement a national engagement framework that aligns with organisational goals.
- Build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups to capture and elevate member perspectives.
- Champion member and stakeholder needs internally and externally.
- Use data and insights to identify new engagement opportunities and improve outcomes.
- Manage budgets, monitor return on investment, and report on performance.
- Represent the organisation at key events and promote visibility of the brand.
You are a strategic thinker with a collaborative, people-first approach. You bring:
- Proven experience in engagement, stakeholder management or member relations.
- Strong leadership capabilities, ideally with experience managing remote or regionally based teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect authentically and translate feedback into action.
- A high level of initiative, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in not-for-profit, membership-based, or regional service organisations is highly regarded.
- Contribute to a purpose-led organisation with national reach.
- Flexible hybrid working model – two days WFH per week.
