As Social Media Specialist , you will lead NBCF’s social media presence to reinforce its position as one of Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisations funding world-class breast cancer research. You will deliver fitโforโformat content, drive bestโpractice organic and paid activity, and elevate engagement across key channels.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and deliver an organisationโwide social media strategy that positions NBCF as a trusted leader in breast cancer research
- Create, schedule and moderate platformโled content that drives reach, engagement and channel growth
- Manage monthly social reporting and provide insights that inform ongoing optimisation
- Lead highโperforming paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms
- Coordinate internal teams and agency partners to unify paid activity and drive audience, budget and performance efficiencies
- Oversee NBCF’s online merchandise store , including sales tracking and paid promotional activity
You’re a creative and analytical social media specialist with a deep understanding of digital behaviour, platform trends and what drives meaningful engagement. What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, digital media, communications or similar
- 3–5 years’ experience managing organic and paid social for brands or organisations
- Proven ability to create engaging, platformโfirst content across key social channels
- Demonstrated experience planning and optimising paid campaigns (Meta Ads Manager essential)
- Experience partnering with agencies or platform representatives to lift performance
- Strong analytical ability with experience reporting on campaign outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at once and work across teamsโfunctionally
- Desirable: Experience in the not-for-profit, health or purpose-driven sectorโforโprofit, health or purposeโdriven sector
