About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our an 8 month contract. In this key leadership role, you will oversee reception operations, manage a small team, and ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the busy clinic.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our an 8 month contract. In this key leadership role, you will oversee reception operations, manage a small team, and ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the busy clinic.
To be successful you will have:
- Experience in a senior medical receptionist role where you have led a small team.
- High level of competency with Best Practice software and Microsoft Office Suite (essential).
- Strong working knowledge of bulk billing processes, including Medicare claims, batching, and reconciliation.
- Ability to liaise effectively and professionally with patients, clinicians, and external stakeholders.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to relate and communicate with empathy, sensitivity, and cultural awareness to engage diverse audience.
- Hold a CPR and first aid certification.
- Manage and schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing accurate information.
- Leading, supervising, and mentoring the reception team, including rostering, delegation of tasks, training and onboarding.
- Deliver professional and empathetic reception services to clients and stakeholders.
- Issue patient invoices and receipts and bulk bill as required.
- Monitoring appointment schedules and maintaining accurate client records using Best Practice software.
- Supporting practice and service data reporting requirements.
