As Senior Manager, Philanthropy , you’ll take ownership of the organisation’s philanthropy and corporate high-value partnerships strategy – driving growth across major gifts , trusts and foundations .

In this pivotal leadership role, you will:
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow major gifts and partnerships revenue
  • Personally manage and secure multi-year and transformational gifts
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing philanthropy team to exceed ambitious goals
  • Work closely with senior leaders, Board and CEO to activate networks and deepen donor engagement
  • Integrate philanthropy into broader marketing and supporter strategies for long-term impact
About you:

You’re a strategic, relationship-driven fundraiser with a strong commercial mindset and a proven record in major donor and corporate partnership growth . You bring a passion for impact, exceptional communication skills , and the ability to inspire confidence among senior stakeholders and donors alike.

What you’ll bring:
  • Proven success securing significant gifts or partnerships with high-value donors, trusts, or corporates
  • Strong business development mindset with a track record of converting relationships into revenue
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to design, deliver and evaluate growth-focused fundraising strategies
  • Exceptional relationship and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging at C-suite and board levels
  • Inspirational leadership style , fostering collaboration, accountability and team performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to craft compelling cases for support
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen , including forecasting, pipeline management and ROI analysis
  • Passion for purpose-driven work and alignment with Guide Dogs’ mission and values
