Beaumont People is proud to partner with The Salvation Army to recruit a highly skilled Senior Insights Analyst —a pivotal role shaping supporter engagement and fundraising strategy at one of Australia’s most trusted charities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly restructured team designed to elevate supporter experience, unlock new market opportunities and build longโ€‘term fundraising growth.

About the Role
Beaumont People is partnering with The Salvation Army to recruit a Senior Insights Analyst who will play a key role in shaping supporter strategy across all fundraising streams. In this senior, endโ€‘toโ€‘end insights role, you’ll work closely with the Supporter Insights Manager to turn data, trends and market opportunities into clear, actionable insights that drive growth.
You’ll collaborate across fundraising, digital, MarComms, CX and content teams to support segmentation, modelling, campaign analytics and longโ€‘term forecasting. While not a peopleโ€‘leader on paper, you’ll act as an informal mentor - uplifting capability and influencing the direction of supporter insights at one of Australia’s most respected charities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver strategic insights that guide fundraising, supporter experience and longโ€‘term supporter value.
  • Analyse supporter trends, behavioural data, product performance and market opportunities (e.g. Gift in Wills growth areas).
  • Develop and enhance segmentation, modelling, forecasting and campaign analytics frameworks.
  • Partner with diverse internal teams - fundraising, digital, MarComms, CX - to define problems and shape insightful analysis.
  • Translate complex analytics into compelling, actionable recommendations.
  • Support improvements to data pipelines, reporting tools and analytical processes.
  • Mentor junior analysts, fostering capability uplift and bestโ€‘practice data storytelling.
About You
  • You are someone who brings depth - not just technical ability, but strategic insight, curiosity, and strong communication skills. You can see the bigger picture, understand commercial drivers and identify opportunities others may miss.
You will bring:
  • Significant experience in data analysis, insights or marketing analytics (not a junior role).
  • Demonstrated examples of delivering strategic insights that informed business, marketing or fundraising decisions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - you know how to tell the story behind the data.
  • Ability to understand stakeholder needs, ask the right questions and challenge assumptions when necessary.
  • Technical skills across Excel, SQL, Power Query, PowerBI, and understanding of data pipelines.
  • Experience with Python or similar statistical tools (desirable but not essential).
Candidates from pure research backgrounds or those who can only present theoretical/university projects typically do not meet the depth required for this role.

Why Join The Salvation Army?
  • Work at scale across mass market, midโ€‘value, community fundraising and Gift in Wills.
  • Be part of a reโ€‘energised, insightsโ€‘driven team with strong leadership and exciting growth plans.
  • Inform strategy at one of Australia’s most respected and impactful NFP organisations.
  • Enjoy a valuesโ€‘led culture built on collaboration, respect and genuine community impact.
  • Excellent development pathway - work closely with senior leaders and broaden your strategic capability.
