About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Grants Administration, the Research Grants Administrator supports the operational delivery of NBCF’s grant schemes under the Pink Horizon Research Strategy, across the full grant lifecycle.
You will support seamless operations and respond to queries and support requests from varied stakeholders with a high level of customer service. Working in a collaborative team where no two days will be the same, you will:
- Monitor a busy inbox for the Research division, and action, communicate or escalate any grant related queries as required.
- Maintain and update tracking of grant deadlines, reporting/audit requirements, and key deliverables to support proactive planning and compliance, suggesting workflow and process improvements where possible.
- Provide meeting administration support for a variety of NBCF Committee operations and workshops as required (such as organising travel, venues and other meeting support tasks).
- Pre-Award and Post-Award Grant Management support, from coordinating documents and application materials to facilitating the execution of grant funding agreements, grant disbursements, reconciliations and acquittals.
Essential Skills and Attributes
You will be highly organised amongst competing priorities and deliverables, and be a proactive team player with exceptional communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications in science or health science, or qualifications by experience.
- Strong administrative skills with previous grant administration experience (grant administration experience in a health/medical related fields will be highly regarded).
- Intermediate to advanced skills across the Microsoft suite with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- First-class stakeholder management skills, and the ability to confidently communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to retain attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
