The Organisation:

This charity is an innovative research organisation that was established as an initiative of Australia’s first National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010–2022 (the National Plan) by the Commonwealth Government and all state and territory governments of Australia. 

ANROWS is a unique research organisation, being one of the only national organisations across the world tasked with building, translating and disseminating the evidence base on women and children’s safety to inform policy and practice.


About the Opportunity:

The Project Coordinator will provide high-quality project coordination, scheduling, documentation, stakeholder support and follow-up across knowledge translation and engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative and project support – Maintain project plans, trackers and registers; update timelines and action lists; coordinate team meetings and record minutes; follow up on outstanding tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Stakeholder coordination and communications – Maintain stakeholder databases; schedule and coordinate meetings and consultations; draft correspondence and briefs.
  • Event and logistics management in coordination with Event Officer– Assist with planning and delivery of webinars, workshops, forums and other KTE activities.
  • Other duties as required – Assist the Deputy Director, Project Managers and communications team with miscellaneous tasks, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and participate in organisational activities.
About You
  • Understanding of the DFSV sector or demonstrated commitment to gender equality and social justice. Ability to work within intersectional, traumaโ€‘informed and culturally safe frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools (e.g. Teams, Zoom, project management software); ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to anticipate needs and issues, and skills in organising meetings, events and resources.
