Beaumont People are proud to be partnering with FRRR  to find a passionate and organised Program Officer to play a vital role in delivering their Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) Victoria and South Coast Futures (SCF) programs .

The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) partners with communities across Australia to support locally led solutions that build resilience and sustainability. Their work spans key focus areas including disaster resilience, climate solutions, and First Nations self-determination, within a highly collaborative and flexible work environment.
  
About the opportunity
This is a varied and hands-on Program Officer role that plays a critical part in keeping complex, multi-year community programs running smoothly .
You will work closely with Program Managers, facilitators and internal stakeholders to coordinate delivery, communications, reporting and operational support across multiple workstreams.
   
Key responsibilities
Program coordination & delivery
  • Coordinate program activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment to timelines and priorities
  • Support logistics for workshops and community events (travel, venues, scheduling)
  • Work closely with facilitators and internal teams to maintain delivery momentum
  • Collaborate with grants teams to support smooth administration of funding rounds
Communications & operational support
  • Prepare stakeholder communications, reports and presentation materials
  • Provide high-quality coordination and administrative support to Program Managers
  • Support system and process improvements to enhance program delivery
  • Assist with financial administration, including invoices, expense tracking and reporting
Stakeholder engagement
  • Act as a key point of contact for program enquiries
  • Build strong working relationships with Community Facilitators and internal peers
  • Support positive stakeholder experiences through proactive and responsive communication
Data, reporting & insights
  • Maintain program data across systems (e.g. SharePoint, grants platforms)
  • Collate and analyse data for reporting, insights and impact storytelling
  • Prepare funder updates and presentations demonstrating program outcomes
About you
You are a highly organised and proactive coordinator who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.
You will bring:
  • Experience in program, project or operations coordination (ideally in NFP, community or government sectors)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence preparing reports, presentations and stakeholder communications
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in data tracking and administration
  • Excellent relationship-building skills across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Comfort working with digital systems (Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint; exposure to grants or finance systems advantageous)

Please note
  • This is a fixed-term contract to 30 June 2029
  • Occasional travel is required (primarily within regional Victoria, with some interstate travel)
