The opportunity
This is a newly created key role within Fundraising, offering the chance to shape and grow a high-impact philanthropy and major donor program.
In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with donors who have the capacity to create transformational change. You will connect their passions and values with opportunities that directly improve the lives of people living with neurological conditions and help fund critical research .
You will play a central part in bringing major donor strategy to life , working closely with senior leaders, the executive and board to unlock significant philanthropic investment . Through thoughtful engagement, compelling cases for support and a strong focus on donor experience, you will help d eepen trust, inspire giving and grow sustainable income that will shape the future of MS Plus.
This is a full time Hybrid role with 3 days a week in the office.
In this role, you will
- Build and manage relationships
with high-net-worth donors, trusts and foundations
- Lead the execution of the major donor strategy
to drive revenue growth
- Develop compelling cases for support
and communicate impact clearly
- Identify, cultivate and secure new major gifts
and philanthropic partnerships
- Collaborate with internal teams
for seamless moves management
- Deliver tailored stewardship plans
and donor engagement activities
- Use CRM and data insights to manage pipeline and optimise donor journeys
You are an experienced philanthropy or major gifts professional who enjoys building genuine, long-term relationships with donors.
You are confident engaging senior stakeholders and understand how to connect donor motivations with meaningful giving opportunities that create impact.
You will also bring:
- Proven success securing major gifts
and meeting fundraising targets
- Strong stakeholder management
skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Experience developing cases for support
and donor communications
- Confidence using CRM systems
and managing donor pipelines
- Strong organisation skills with attention to detail and follow-through
