About St Vincent de Paul Society

Beaumont People is a proud recruitment partner of St Vincent de Paul Society NSW (Vinnies) to recruit their new People Systems Specialist. The St Vincent de Paul Society is a leading provider of community support services, whose mission it is to shape a more just and compassionate society.

The Society at large is known for its compassion, diverse programs, reach and impact in the community. The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement experience, experience working in a broad hands-on role, experience working with budgets, has a drive for process improvement and commercial acumen.

This is a technical systems role focused on SAP SuccessFactors. It sits within the People and Culture team and will focus on system configuration, integrations and supporting and improving business as usual system activity.

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, specialist people systems function and make a genuine impact. You will work closely with an experienced senior systems lead, alongside Payroll, ICT and external implementation partners.

SAP SuccessFactors was implemented two years ago, and the organisation is now moving into a strong optimisation phase. There is a clear focus on improving system capability, automating processes and embedding best practice following the upcoming payroll integration.

This role offers real scope to shape how the system is used and to be actively involved in meaningful system improvements, rather than simply maintaining the status quo. It is ideal for someone who enjoys improving systems and seeing the impact of their work across an organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and optimise the SAP SuccessFactors platform, with a strong focus on Employee Central Support Recruitment, Onboarding, Offboarding and Careers modules
  • Configure and maintain workflows, business rules and role based permissions
  • Coordinate release management for SAP SuccessFactors, including reviewing updates, testing and supporting system upgrades
  • Manage system change requests, ensuring appropriate governance, documentation and impact assessment
  • Maintain security standards, access controls and role-based permissions across the platform
  • Manage system access and permissions for new starters and role changes
  • Investigate and resolve system issues and coordinate fixes with external vendors
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records and process guides
  • Support post implementation improvements and backend automation initiatives
Your Experience
  • Hands on experience with SAP SuccessFactors is essential
  • Strong experience with Employee Central
  • Exposure to Recruitment and Onboarding modules
  • Comfortable with system configuration and understanding downstream impacts
  • Experience working with system integrations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
