We are partnering with a well-established Not-for-Profit organisation based in Botany to recruit a temporary People & Culture Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation and make an immediate impact across the full employee lifecycle.
The role will start on Monday 27th July and be an ongoing temporary assignment that could go permanent for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offers and onboarding
- Coordinate and continuously improve onboarding programmes to support a positive employee experience
- Oversee the Learning & Development function, including training coordination, compliance training, records management and programme administration
- Provide frontline Employee Relations and Industrial Relations advice to leaders and employees
- Assist managers with performance management, policy interpretation and workplace issues
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards, policies and procedures
- Previous experience in a People & Culture, Human Resources or HR Coordinator role
- Demonstrated experience managing 360 recruitment and onboarding
- Exposure to Learning & Development coordination and administration
- Experience handling employee relations matters, including investigations and grievances
- Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Working holiday visas are welcomed for the temporary opportunity however could not be considered to transfer to the permanent role, due to the need for full working rights.
