About the Role:

As the National Development Manager at Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the organisation’s national corporate partnerships strategy working with and for the RMHC system. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Brand & Engagement, you will be responsible for identifying, securing and nurturing high-value partnerships with corporate donors, trusts & foundations. Your focus will be on building strong, mutually beneficial relationships that not only generate vital income but also align with RMHC’s vision in caring for families with children who are ill or injured. You will lead the creation of compelling partnership proposals, deliver persuasive presentations, and ensure best-practice stewardship and reporting to maintain long-term engagement and impact.

About You:

You're a strategic thinker and persuasive communicator who thrives on creating genuine, mutually beneficial partnerships. You bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for social impact, matched with the commercial acumen to drive high-value fundraising outcomes. Comfortable working with C-suite executives and large-scale stakeholders, you’re known for your ability to influence, inspire, and deliver results. You’re collaborative, proactive, and adaptable—able to navigate a federated environment with confidence and clarity. Most of all, you're driven by purpose and motivated by the opportunity to help families when they need it most.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and secure new high-value national corporate partners in collaboration with the 11 chapters through proactive relationship-building and compelling pitches.
  • Build and manage a national partnerships pipeline, tracking progress through Salesforce and leveraging donor insights to inform strategy.
  • Develop co-created partnership proposals and impact reports in collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet partner expectations.
  • Champion stewardship best practices to retain and grow existing partnerships, 
  • Explore new strategic fundraising opportunities and initiatives to drive revenue growth across the RMHC system.
  • Lead cultivation and engagement with McDonald’s national donor network to deepen collaboration and financial support.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of new/pipeline partnership progress, outcomes, and key metrics to internal stakeholders and the Board.
  • Represent RMHC at events and meetings, confidently promoting the charity’s mission and strategic priorities.
  • Uphold RMHC’s values by fostering a culture of integrity, excellence, and family-focused service.
  
Prerequisites / Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, corporate partnerships, fundraising, preferably in a national or high-profile organisation.
  • Proven ability to secure six- and seven-figure partnerships with corporates, or corporate foundations
  • Demonstrated success in building pipelines, creating winning proposals, and leading strategic presentations.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, communications or a related discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively across a federated or multi-location organisation is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and reporting.
  • High level of competence with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • A current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel interstate when required.
