About the role

As a core member of the Membership team, the Membership Officer will deliver exceptional customer service, drive data accuracy, uphold quality standards, and streamline workflows that enhance the member and staff experience. You’ll maintain an accurate CRM, support efficient administration and reporting, and work collaboratively across teams to ensure consistent data as the primary point of contact for member enquiries.

Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding service to current and prospective members across inbound and outbound communication, managing the membership inbox and contributing to a seamless member experience.
  • Manage all membership processes and CRM workflows, supporting the Membership team across acquisition, retention and renewals.
  • Maintain and enhance the CRM (HubSpot) through data updates, audits, reporting and monthly health checks, ensuring strong data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain clear system documentation, process guides and training materials for all CRM and membership workflows.
  • Support ad hoc projects and collaborate effectively across departments.

What you’ll bring
  • Previous experience in a customer service or coordinator role, ideally within a membership based organisation.
  • Calm and professional demeanour, exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a proven ability to build strong, positive relationships with staff and members.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or demonstrated experience managing CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of data management, including processes to maintain high quality data and ensure compliance with privacy and security requirements.
  • Proactive self-starter who takes initiative and actively seeks opportunities to improve processes and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Highly organised, with excellent multitasking abilities and meticulous attention to detail while managing competing priorities.
