Change is an everyday part of life, and the Change Management Institute are a not-for-profit association committed to being at the forefront of change, representing the voice of change management professionals and providing exceptional services for their membership base. As an association created by and operated by members for members, the Institute is constantly striving to push the boundaries of the change management profession.
About the role
We’re looking for a proactive and innovative Member Coordinator who understands the full membership lifecycle and is eager to enhance the experience of our global members and volunteers. Reporting to the Operations Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing our community, refining systems, and driving the ongoing success of the Institute.
- Oversee the entire membership lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to renewal and retention
- Analyse membership data to help shape processes and strategies that drive member growth and engagement
- Continuously review and optimise existing workflows, maintain data integrity, and introduce innovative improvements to systems
- Deliver exceptional, member-focused communication and support, responding thoughtfully and proactively to enquiries
- Work closely with the communications team to develop newsletters, updates, and targeted engagement campaigns
- Support the development and engagement of country and chapter volunteers through onboarding, capability-building, and ongoing enhancement of resources and volunteer experience
- Ensure membership data is accurate, current, and compliant with all relevant data protection regulations.

- Proven experience in membership services or volunteer management within an association or not-for-profit, with a deep understanding of the membership journey
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across diverse groups
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, skilled at managing complex workflows and priorities
- Confident and experienced with CRM platforms, Microsoft SharePoint, and/or Learning Management Systems
- A curious and innovative mindset, consistently driving continuous improvement and creative problem-solving
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a remote, flexible environment
- An interest in change management, continuous learning and professional growth.
