The Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) is the peak body representing radiographers, radiation therapists, nuclear medicine technologists, and sonographers. ASMIRT supports these essential healthcare professionals through advocacy, education, and member services, contributing to improved patient care and outcomes.
About the role
As Marketing Officer, you’ll be at the heart of ASMIRT’s communications and marketing activities. Reporting to the Manager, Communications and Government Relations, you’ll design and deliver campaigns, manage social media and web content, produce eNews and EDMs, and provide graphic design support using Canva.
This is a hands-on role for a marketing generalist who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys balancing creativity with analytics. You’ll work closely with the Communications, Marketing, and Events teams to promote ASMIRT’s services and elevate its brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and deliver marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
- Manage social media strategy and website content (WordPress)
- Produce weekly eNews and targeted EDMs
- Create engaging graphics and maintain brand consistency using Canva
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote events, education, and member services
- Track campaign performance and provide insights for improvement
- Flexible hybrid work arrangements (3 days in office, Monday mandatory)

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong skills in social media, website management (WordPress), and Canva
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience in healthcare or membership associations (preferred but not essential)
