Marketing Coordinator | Immediate Start
  • Temporary ongoing role for approximately 8 weeks

  • Remote flexibility, with optional office attendance for Melbourne-based candidates

  • Equipment can be provided if required; all systems are cloud-based for seamless remote access

The Role

The Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in shaping and strengthening the organisation’s brand and voice. Working closely with senior leadership, this role supports the planning, execution, and evaluation of a range of marketing initiatives aligned with national and local objectives for member, candidate and employer engagement.
By leveraging content, you will help elevate visibility and brand awareness across multiple communication channels.

Role responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver marketing content: Plan, create, and distribute engaging marketing content across various platforms, including the website, email campaigns, and social media channels.
  • Email communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design, coordinate, and execute targeted email communications such as electronic direct mail (eDMs) and newsletters.
  • Website management: Oversee the user experience (UX) and content of the website, ensuring it serves as an effective marketing tool that aligns with organisational objectives.
  • Social media management: Manage social media presence by scheduling, publishing, and monitoring posts, ensuring content is consistent with the brand voice and standards.
  • Analytics and reporting: Track, analyse, and report on email communication, website and social media performance, providing insights and recommendations to support data-driven improvements and campaign optimisation.
  • General support: Additional tasks and projects as assigned to support strategic priorities and team initiatives.
Required skills & experience:
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar marketing or communications role.
  • Strong written communication skills are essential, with the ability to create clear and engaging content across multiple channels. Exposure to or experience working with AI tools is desirable.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, WordPress, Marketing Cloud and Mailchimp.
  • Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working with A dobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a self-motivated approach to initiate and execute tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, business, or related field.
  •  A strong drive to seek insights and add value to communications, with the ability to manage a dynamic and evolving workload.
  • Experience in financial services or professional membership organisations is a plus.
