About the Role:
As the Content Marketing Coordinator, you will play a big role in planning, developing and managing multimedia content that supports The Smith Family’s fundraising campaigns and marketing efforts. You’ll be the operational linchpin between internal teams and creative partners, ensuring stories, case studies, research and content resources are delivered efficiently and in line with brand and messaging standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate content requirements and delivery schedules across marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage the sourcing, consent and approvals of content
- Develop impactful copy and audience-focused content for digital channels and fundraising campaigns.
- Support the creation and maintenance of content toolkits, databases, workflows, and resources
- Ensure consistent application of brand tone, storytelling frameworks and ethical guidelines
- Build strong working relationships across marketing, comms, story, research and fundraising teams
- Liaise with external agencies to manage content production timelines and approvals
- Maintain content systems including Digital Asset Management platforms
- Analyse and report on content performance to inform planning and improvements
- Research emerging trends and contribute ideas for content innovation
- Champion collaboration and proactive communication across stakeholder groups
About you:
You’re a creative and organised content professional with a keen eye for detail and storytelling. You thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments and enjoy juggling multiple priorities. Driven by purpose, you’re passionate about using content to make a meaningful social impact.
- 3+ years’ experience in content marketing or campaign coordination
- A background in fundraising or campaign coordination alongside fundraising teams
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a related discipline
- Proven ability to manage content-heavy projects in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills
- Proven experience writing copy for digital channels and fundraising campaigns.
- Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail
- Experience working with creative agencies and content management systems
- A passion for storytelling and a deep respect for ethical content use
- A collaborative, proactive, solutions-focused mindset
