This is a great role for someone with 2–3 years’ experience who loves producing meaningful content, bringing ideas to the table, and working with a warm, collaborative team.
Your Duties:
- Craft engaging stories that highlight the impact of Melbourne Legacy – sourcing content from internal teams, volunteers, and the community
- Create and schedule social media content across our platforms
- Write clear, effective communications including EDMs, website content, campaign materials and supporter updates
- Assist with digital marketing activities, including paid advertising and interpreting performance trends
- Support video creation and story capture across campaigns and events
- Work closely with the wider Marketing & Fundraising team on campaigns, appeals and brand initiatives
- Update and build pages in our CMS
- 2–3 years’ marketing and/or communications experience
- A proactive, self-starter approach with the ability to hit the ground running
- Strong written communication skills and a natural storytelling ability
- Confidence building relationships and gathering information from diverse people
- Experience creating content for social media, EDMs and digital channels
- Familiarity with Canva (essential), email marketing platforms (Auto/Mailchimp-style), and CMS experience
- Bonus: Adobe skills, video capabilities and an interest in marketing data/analytics

- 5 weeks annual leave + a gifted day at Christmas
- Salary packaging up to $15,000
- Hybrid working: Tuesdays & Thursdays in the office , Fridays always WFH
