We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of engaging marketing and communications initiatives for dynamic professional association.
This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented marketer with strong writing skills, who enjoys producing content, designing collateral, and contributing to campaigns in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a hands-on role where strong writing and communication skills are essential , as you will be producing content across social media, website, newsletters, and other channels to engage members and stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing and communications plans
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content across multiple channels (social media, web, newsletters, eDMs)
- Create and publish engaging content across web and social platforms
- Develop and execute social media campaigns and day-to-day content
- Produce marketing collateral for events, partnerships, and campaigns
- Design digital assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (social graphics, videos, flyers, banners, infographics, etc.)
- Support marketing activity for events,
- Assist with website updates and content management (CMS)
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, engagement, and analytics
- Maintain consistency in brand voice and communication style
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver campaigns
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a marketing or communications role
- Exceptional writing and editing skills are critical , with a strong ability to adapt tone and style for different channels
- Proven experience creating content across digital platforms (social, web, eDMs)
- Experience planning and executing social media campaigns
- Strong email marketing experience (design, subscriber management, journeys)
- Confident using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite, plus MS Office
- Familiarity with CMS and CRM systems
- Strong understanding of marketing trends and digital best practices
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, self-motivated team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Design
