Based in Pyrmont, CWH are the only affordable housing provider in New South Wales delivering the full spectrum of services from new housing development to tenancy management and community engagement.
Purpose of the Role:
Drive high‑quality, customer‑centred housing and community engagement services that make a real difference. In this newly created, pivotal role, you’ll lead responsive, high‑performing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and positive outcomes aligned with CWH’s Purpose, Values and Strategic Plan.
Your leadership will help build stronger, more connected communities by supporting sustainable tenancies and ensuring CWH continue to meet the evolving needs of their residents.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Lead a small team to achieve meaningful outcomes for residents, embodying customer service excellence in everything that you do.
- Operationalise strategic projects to improve systems, processes and programs across the Housing and Community Engagement portfolio.
- Meet or exceed industry benchmarks by driving continuous service improvements and ensuring all operations comply with legal, regulatory and best‑practice requirements.
- Maintain up‑to‑date policies and procedures, oversee portfolio structure and workload distribution, and ensure accurate, consistent resident data is captured and maintained.
- Collaborate across teams and with external partners, government and industry stakeholders to enhance resident quality of life, strengthen community outcomes and support CWH’s strategic position.
- Monitor and analyse Housing Services and Community Engagement KPIs, using data‑driven insights to guide operational and strategic recommendations.
- Lead and deliver operational priorities and projects across tenancy, resident management and community engagement, ensuring excellent customer service, high resident satisfaction and achievement of KPIs.
- Collaborate with key external partners, government entities and industry stakeholders to strengthen CWH’s position in the community.
- Develop scalable internal processes and frameworks in partnership with the Project Officer to support organisational growth and readiness for future expansion.
- Lead resident engagement for new CWH developments, strengthening community connection and sense of place through effective placemaking.
- Experience leading high performing teams within Community Housing, Tenancy Management or similar
- Experience delivering continuous improvement and strategic projects
- Detailed understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act
- Experience proactively and collaboratively improving business processes or systems end - to- end
- NSW Drivers Licence desirable
