Management Accountant – Temporary Assignment (3 Months)
A Brisbane-based not-for-profit organisation is seeking a hands-on, experienced Management Accountant for a 3-month temporary assignment. This role is critical to supporting the finance team through EOFY audit preparation and ongoing financial operations.
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and bring a proactive approach to a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

A Brisbane-based not-for-profit organisation is seeking a hands-on, experienced Management Accountant for a 3-month temporary assignment. This role is critical to supporting the finance team through EOFY audit preparation and ongoing financial operations.
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and bring a proactive approach to a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation for the EOFY audit (commencing 28 July)
- Handle general accounting transactions, journal entries, and bookkeeping tasks
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and follow-ups
- CPA qualification
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a qualified accountant
- Experience in management or commercial accounting
- Proven skills in systems implementation and process mapping
- Advanced Excel and strong MS Office 365 capabilities
- Able to work independently and hit the ground running
- Experience with Xero
- Previous experience in the not-for-profit sector
- Experience using Calxa, RecHound, DEXT, Approval Max and Zellefoor similar reporting tools
- Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or other CRM systems
- Experience with payroll
- Hybrid working model
- 3 to 5 days per week
