Level 2 IT Support & AV Technician (9-Week Temporary Assignment)

Location: Ballarat 3350
Start Date: 26th August 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $50.60 – $56.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Parking: Free onsite parking available

We’re currently seeking a Level 2 IT Support Technician with AV experience to provide on-the-ground support at our client in Ballarat for a 9-week temporary assignment.

In this role, you’ll be providing face-to-face IT support across the campus, responding to a variety of classroom, meeting room, and general IT hardware issues. You’ll be based fully onsite and working closely with staff to resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 2 IT support across campus, including classroom and meeting room environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV and hardware-related issues
  • Support end-users with day-to-day IT queries
  • Log and manage incidents using ServiceNow (preferred)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth tech operations
About You:
  • A couple of years’ experience in an IT support role
  • Experience supporting AV equipment and classroom/meeting room tech
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
  • Previous experience in a university or education environment highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
