About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Communications and Fundraising, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering strategies to grow ACON’s base of individual donors, enhance supporter journeys and maximise donor lifetime value.
You will:
- Lead the planning and execution of multi-channel fundraising campaigns including appeals, regular giving, bequests, and partnerships
- Develop and implement donor acquisition and retention initiatives to build sustainable growth
- Use data and insights to inform strategy, track results and optimise campaigns
- Manage relationships with external agencies (digital, direct marketing, telemarketing, face-to-face) to deliver effective campaigns
- Collaborate across the organisation to ensure fundraising activity aligns with ACON’s broader strategic goals
About You
You are a strategic and collaborative fundraising professional who has a strong understanding of both mass market and relationship fundraising to build meaningful donor relationships. You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in individual giving, direct marketing, donor acquisition and retention.
- Knowledge of donor development strategies and donor motivations
- Experience managing internal stakeholders and external agencies (digital, direct marketing, telemarketing, face-to-face).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage donors.
- High-level planning, project management and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to ACON’s communities, as well as all LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV.
