As Individual Giving Manager , you will lead and optimise the Individual Giving portfolio, overseeing appeals, donor journeys, regular giving, acquisition and community fundraising marketing. You will manage three multiโchannel direct mail appeals and one 12โhour Giving Day each year, produce printed supporter newsletters, and lead targeted acquisition and retention strategies. The role also drives marketing for community fundraising initiatives including Hamlin Ethiopian Adventures and the Hamlin Barefoot Walk.
You will directly manage a fullโtime Fundraising Coordinator and collaborate closely with the fundraising, marketing and communications team, reporting to the Global Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver the Individual Giving strategy across appeals, regular giving, donor journeys and acquisition
- Lead endโtoโend delivery of three appeals and the annual 12โhour Giving Day
- Manage and grow the Regular Giving program across acquisition, onboarding, retention and upgrades
- Design and optimise donor journeys and oversee delivery of four printed newsletters per year
- Lead marketing for community fundraising initiatives including Hamlin Ethiopian Adventures and the Hamlin Barefoot Walk
- Manage and mentor a fullโtime Fundraising Coordinator and oversee key agency / supplier relationships
You’re an insightโdriven Individual Giving specialist with strong campaign management experience and a passion for donorโcentred storytelling. You excel at delivering integrated direct marketing activity, interpreting data, improving donor journeys and managing multiple campaigns at pace. You bring strong communication skills, stakeholder confidence and leadership capability to mentor a developing team member.
What you’ll bring
Essential:
- 4+ years’ experience in Individual Giving, direct marketing or fundraising
- Proven success growing singleโgift and regular giving programs
- Experience delivering multiโchannel and direct mail campaigns endโtoโend
- Strong analytical skills with CRM and segmentation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management capability and attention to detail
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience supervising or mentoring team members
