The Retention Coordinator will be responsible for:
  • Managing donor retention campaigns and supporter communications from inception to delivery. This includes direct mail appeals, donor newsletters, surveys, milestone recognition, bequest stewardship, and the implementation of automated donor journeys and retention flows.
  • Supporting cross-channel engagement including digital, mail, and EDMs to ensure consistent and meaningful touchpoints that drive long-term donor value.
  • Tracking, analysing and reporting on donor behaviour across all giving levels – base, mid and bequest. This is to identify risks, retention opportunities and insights to optimise campaign performance.
  • Managing administrative fundraising functions such as the donor inbox, receipting, welcome letters and general supporter engagement.

To apply for the role you will need:
  • Fundraising experience, ideally within IG but also open to other fundraising streams.
  • Creativity, ideally within either copy writing or graphic design.
  • Strong campaign or project management skills.
  • Experience using a fundraising database - Salesforce preferred.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong administrative, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills and a professional persona.
