The Role:
Joining the Public Affairs team, you will be the first point of contact for supporters and the general public, providing a high level of service across phone, email, and written correspondence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling inbound calls from current and potential supporters
- Accurately recording and actioning enquiries, redirecting where required
- Processing donations over the phone
- Managing shared inboxes and responding to email and written correspondence
- Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system
- Providing feedback and insights to support service improvements
- Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally phone-based
- Strong communication skills with a warm, professional manner
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Experience working with CRM systems
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently
- Previous experience within the NFP or NGO sector
- Exposure to donation processing or similar environments
Flexibility and work location arrangements are considered with regard to individual, team and organisational requirements; however, due to the nature of this role, it is primarily office‑based and requires regular on‑site attendance to effectively deliver its responsibilities, with increased on‑site presence required during peak periods (Tax: May–June to early July; Christmas: November–December to early January).
