APRA AMCOS is a vibrant and evolving organisation dedicated to fostering creativity and diversity in the music industry. As a member-based entity, we work closely with artists, industry professionals, and stakeholders to protect and promote the rights of music creators. APRA AMCOS advocates for the rights of music creators, promote their interests at all levels of government and within the wider community, and facilitates global representation through partnerships with affiliated societies worldwide.

About the Role:

As a Human Resources Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting HR operations across the organisation. You will be able to make a significant impact in areas like recruitment, employee engagement, and diversity initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide timely and accurate first point of escalation and advice for frontline managers, in relation to general people relations matters, in line with APRA AMCOS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment activity within agreed timeframes; this includes providing advice, support and proactively engaging in initiatives to source candidates.
  • Connect with stakeholders for probation check-ins and end of probation reminders to stakeholders
  • Conduct exit interviews, parental leave discussions
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships both internally and with key external stakeholders.
  • Help address employees’ and frontline managers’ most urgent needs by providing proactive, accurate, and solutions-focused advice on P&C matters to business stakeholders.
  • Support employees and frontline managers with coaching and processes that are not self-serve or automated.
  • Provide administrative and project support and coordination for P&C activities.
To be successful, you will have:
  • Experience in HR administration, coordination, and recruitment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • A collaborative approach and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • The ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude, with a focus on trust-building and mitigating risk.
