About the Role:
This is a hands-on project support role, ideal for someone with strong HR knowledge and an understanding of how HR and Payroll systems support business operations. As the HR Advisor, you'll work closely with the internal HR and project teams to:
- Assist in translating existing HR processes and workflows into the new HRIS/Payroll system
- Support the change management strategy, helping employees adapt to new ways of working
- Contribute to training design and delivery for system users across the organisation
- Coordinate and develop internal communications related to the system rollout
- Troubleshoot and provide feedback to the implementation team during user testing and early-stage adoption
To hit the ground running, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience working with HR processes, ideally within a similar advisory-level role
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS/Payroll systems – experience with implementation or upgrades is highly desirable
- A confident, proactive mindset with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to a dynamic project environment
- An understanding of the NFP or community services sector would be advantageous but not essential
Role Details:
- Employment Type: Temporary
- Duration: 6 months
- Time Commitment: 0.6 FTE (Part-time)
- Location: Onsite Eastern Suburbs – enjoy being embedded with the team and playing a direct role in organisational change
- Pay Rate: $40–$44 per hour + Super
- Start Date: Immediate commencement required
