A much-respected Australian not-for-profit based in the centre of Sydney is seeking an HR Coordinator for a 3-month contract, starting ASAP. In this role, you will be supporting the HR team with duties such as:
• Assisting with recruitment administration including drafting contracts and letters, shortlisting, reference checking, & scheduling appointments.
• Sourcing candidates from adverts and telephone screening.
• Supporting hiring managers with Employment Relations enquiries such a disciplinaries and performance reviews.
• Updating information in the HRIS (ELMO).
• Auditing personnel files.
• Ad hoc HR admin projects.
To apply for the role you will:
• Have solid experience within an HR or People & Culture role.
• Have knowledge of Australian HR legislation and guidance.
• Be available to start within the next 2 weeks and be able to commit to a 3-month contract for full-time hours.
• Have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using an HRIS (Ideally ELMO)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Have a genuine interest in the not-for-profit space.
