The role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced grants professional to be part of a growing grants function at Vinnies.
Reporting to the Trusts & Foundations Manager, you will identify funding opportunities, develop high quality grant applications and build relationships with Trusts, Foundations, and Government. You will play a key role in increasing sustainable income and supporting the delivery of impactful programs.
This is is a full time role, based in Lewisham, with a hybrid working model.
What you’ll do
- Identify and secure funding
opportunities from trusts, foundations, corporates and government sources
- Write and submit high quality grant applications
aligned to organisational priorities
- Manage the end-to-end grant process
including tracking, reporting and acquittals
- Build and maintain relationships with key funders
and decision makers
- Work closely with internal stakeholders
to align funding with program delivery
- Monitor performance and contribute to improving success rates and multi year funding outcomes
- Experience writing grant applications
and securing funding from trusts and foundations / government / corporate foundations
- Strong stakeholder engagement
skills and the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent written communication
skills with the ability to translate impact into compelling proposals
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple submissions
and deadlines
- Comfortable working across teams
to gather information and support submissions
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
