About The Role
This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced digital fundraising or campaign professional looking to take the next step in their career.
As Fundraising Campaigns Manager – Digital, you will lead the planning, execution and optimisation of mass market, multi-channel fundraising campaigns that drive engagement, acquisition and revenue growth with a particular focus on peer-to-peer.
You’ll join the Individual and Community Giving Unit, reporting to the Head of Individual and Community Giving, and manage a passionate team working across peer-to-peer, digital, and community fundraising initiatives. You’ll also contribute to national projects in collaboration with colleagues across the Cancer Council Federation.
This role would suit someone with an agency or digital marketing background looking to bring their skills into a purpose-driven environment, or a seasoned fundraiser seeking a new challenge with broader scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the digital fundraising portfolio, managing end-to-end campaign strategy, execution, and reporting
- Oversee the development of new products and innovations that engage new and existing supporters at scale
- Build and mentor a high-performing team, driving a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Partner with key stakeholders, internal teams and external agencies to deliver campaigns on time and within budget
- Utilise data insights and user experience best practices to optimise performance and supporter journeys
- Monitor trends in digital giving and identify opportunities to diversify and grow income
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field and/or equivalent relevant experience
- An experienced fundraising professional with expertise in digital or peer-to-peer campaigns
- A strong people leader who can coach, support and motivate a team to achieve ambitious targets
- Skilled in campaign management, segmentation, journey mapping and data-driven decision making
- Familiar with digital media planning, including paid media, automation and conversion optimisation
- A natural collaborator, able to work cross-functionally and manage a wide range of internal and external relationships
- Highly organised, with excellent communication, project management and budget management skills
