About the role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of all financial accounting responsibilities. Continuous improvement suggestions with an eye to improving the user experience, will be welcomed and encouraged.
- General GL posting, including payments and revenue recognition, prepayments, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Assist with annual audit and year end activities as required.
- Be an active participant in continuous improvement activities and projects Process regular payments and ensure compliance with procedures/delegation limits.
- Liaise with an outsourced payroll provider, ensuring accurate and correct payroll processes.
- Be responsible for the expense management software (training and onboarding new users, and ensuring that all expense coding is up to date and correct)
- Undertake the monthly reconciliation of income, expenditure and balance sheet accounts, and
- Assist with cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting processes.
Essential Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and CA/CPA qualification.
- Technological literacy, as well as intermediate /advanced proficiency with Excel, and robust experience working with larger ERP systems.
- A strong understanding of Accounting and Audit Standards – and previous experience in a similar role within a larger, complex organisational environment is essential.
- Experience in building effective relationships with stakeholders and delivering exceptional customer service when managing varied queries.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and queries while delivering the highest levels of customer service.
