Role responsibilities
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the range of financial accounting responsibilities – preparation of month-end reconciliations and reports, as well as compliance, financial analysis and supporting with budgeting/audit processes. Outside of the usual day-to-day, continuous improvement suggestions, with an eye to improving the user experience will be welcomed.

- Process regular payments and ensure compliance with procedures/delegation limits.
- Liaise with an outsourced payroll provider, ensuring accurate and correct payroll processes.
- Be responsible for the expense management software (training and onboarding new users, and ensuring that all expense coding is up to date and correct)
- General GL posting, including payments and revenue recognition, prepayments, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Undertake the monthly reconciliation of income, expenditure and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting processes., and assisting with annual audit and year end activities as required.
- Be an active participant in continuous improvement activities and projects.
Essential Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Tech savviness (experience using accounting packages/expense management systems and CRMs, as well as intermediate – advanced proficiency with Excel).
- Robust experience with, and a strong understanding of Accounting and Audit Standards.
- Experience in building effective relationships with stakeholders in a large, complex organisational environment.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and queries while delivering the highest levels of customer service.
