EXECUTIVE OFFICER | CROWS NEST CENTRE
Crows Nest Centre (CNC) is a well-regarded community organisation and registered charity, located in the heart of Crows Nest. CNC delivers programs and services that foster connection, inclusion and wellbeing, particularly for older people, individuals with disability, migrants, parents, and people experiencing homelessness or social isolation.
Working with a skilled and committed Board, this is an opportunity for an experienced and values-driven Executive Officer (EO) to lead the organisation and guide the next chapter of sustainable growth, community impact, and service innovation. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential to extend once the future to sustainability has been determined and a new strategic plan is in place.
As EO, you will oversee strategy, operations, financial management and governance and work closely with the Board (as Company Secretary), staff, and external partners including North Sydney Council and the Department of Health, Disability and Aging.

Key Selection Criteria:
- Proven leadership experience in the community or not-for-profit sector with the ability to lead a small, passionate team with integrity and vision
- Experience in operational program planning and implementation
- Sound financial management skills, including budgeting and grant applications
- Experience working with government funding bodies and community networks
- Experience with governance, compliance, risk and regulatory frameworks
- Understanding of community aged care and current reforms
- A commitment to social justice, equity and community development
