About the role:
This is a newly created role at the heart of a leading professional membership organisation, responsible for shaping the content, ideas and speaker programs behind 220+ events annually. You’ll work across flagship conferences, roundtables and forums to curate compelling agendas, engage high-profile speakers, and ensure every program reflects the priorities of senior leaders across business, government and governance.

This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, stakeholder engagement and events programming, with strong exposure to senior executives and subject matter experts across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and shape event programs that deliver relevant, high-value insights for members and senior leaders
  • Curate and secure expert speakers, including C-suite leaders, policymakers and industry specialists
  • Develop engaging agendas that reflect current governance, business and leadership priorities
  • Partner with internal teams and event designers to translate ideas into compelling event experiences
  • Manage and nurture speaker relationships, ensuring high-quality preparation and delivery
  • Work with internal committees and stakeholders to refine themes, topics and program direction
  • Review event feedback and data to continuously improve content quality and audience engagement
  • Support alignment between event content, marketing messaging and member value proposition
To be successful you with have:
  • Experience in event content, conference programming, or speaker curation (not just event delivery)
  • Confidence working with executive-level stakeholders, industry leaders, or subject matter experts
  • Strong ability to design structured, engaging event programs and agendas
  • Proven experience sourcing and managing speakers for professional or corporate events
  • Strong editorial thinking, able to identify what topics matter and why
  • Highly organised with strong project coordination skills
  • Comfortable working with feedback, data and audience insights to improve outcomes
  • Strong communicator with confidence managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines
