- Temporary role ongoing until the end of June
- Part-time 2 days per week (can consider reduced hours over more days)
- 7.35 hours per day / 14.7 hours per week
- Tuesday is a core day in the office
- $36.56 per hour + Super
- Occasional additional day may be required to support event preparations
- Previous experience using online events platforms (e.g. Eventbrite) highly desired
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the organisation and delivery of event contributing to the development of the annual event calendar.
- Scope requirements for each event, including research and requesting quotes/proposals.
- Book venues, catering, and services within agreed budgets.
- Assist with registration, database management, and delegate communications.
- Provide on-site support during events (bump in/out).
- Develop, maintain, and implement systems and procedures for efficient event delivery.
- Work necessary hours to successfully deliver events, including occasional outside business hours.
- Participate in other projects and general activities of the organisation.
- Support a positive and collaborative workplace culture and effective communication practices.
- Carry out other duties as requested by senior leadership.
- Proven experience in coordination, event support, or administrative roles within a large organisation.
- Background in a not-for-profit, corporate, or professional services environment highly regarded.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail, particularly when handling documentation and event materials.
- Confident liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience using online events platforms (e.g., Eventbrite) highly desired
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.
