We are seeking a highly organised and creative  Event Coordinator  to join our clients team in a temporary capacity. In this role, you will manage all aspects of event planning and execution, from initial concept through to post-event evaluation.
  • Part time 6 month temporary role
  • End of February/early March to first week of September
  • $50.60 to 56.93 per hour + super casual rate
  • Flexible work arrangements 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute an event from start to finish (on time, within scope and budget)
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage logistics, permits, venues, catering, AV, and entertainment
  • Develop event timelines, floorplans, and run sheets
  • Coordinate event marketing, communications, and guest lists
  • Manage on-site event execution, including staff, contractors, and last-minute problem-solving
  • Monitor and track event budgets and post-event reporting
  • Evaluate event success and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal requirements
About You:
  • 3+ years of experience in an end-to-end event coordination or project management role
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative flair with attention to detail
  • Experience using event/project management tools and CRM systems
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset  
Please note you must be available to commence at the end of February or early March until September and be happy to work on a part time temporary basis.
