This prestigious purpose-driven, member-based organisation is a trusted leader in governance education and advocacy. Each year, they deliver over 220 events, ranging from flagship national conferences to intimate roundtables, connecting and inspiring leaders nationwide.

About the role:
This is a newly created role focused on the content, programming, and speaker curation behind a high-volume, high-quality events portfolio.

You will be responsible for shaping event programs and agendas, sourcing and managing expert speakers, and working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure programs are relevant, insightful, and aligned to organisational priorities. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop structured event programs and agendas aligned to member needs and organisational priorities
  • Research, identify, and secure subject matter experts and speakers across industry and government
  • Manage speaker relationships, including briefing, coordination, and ongoing communication
  • Work with internal committees and stakeholders to shape content direction and event objectives
  • Partner with Event Designers and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Coordinate speaker schedules, run sheets, and event content logistics
  • Review post-event feedback, data, and insights to improve future programming
  • Support alignment with marketing teams on event positioning and messaging (content input only)
  • Maintain strong relationships with speakers, partners, and key stakeholders
To be successful you with have:
  • Proven experience in conference production, program development, or event content curation within a professional events environment
  • Strong track record of working with senior stakeholders, executives, or subject matter experts
  • Experience managing speaker acquisition and end-to-end speaker coordination
  • Ability to design structured agendas or programs for conferences or forums
  • Strong project coordination skills with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with feedback, data, and insights to improve content outcomes
  • Clear communicator with strong stakeholder engagement capability
  • Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
