About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and adaptable Education Officer to oversee and manage the operational and administrative aspect of the association’s education, examination and assessment programs. This six month contract requires someone who can confidently handle short periods of high activity, juggle multiple priorities, and work autonomously while providing proactive guidance and support to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate education programs, assessments and examination activities.
  • Provide analysis and reporting on candidate progress, assessment outcomes and potential issues.
  • Prepare high quality reports, briefs, agendas, minutes and correspondence.
  • Support governance committees and Boards with meeting preparation and secretariat functions.
  • Interpret and communicate complex regulations, policies and program requirements.
  • Liaise with candidates, examiners, committees and external professional bodies.
  • Contribute to workshops, tutorials, study clubs and eโ€‘learning resources.
  • Manage examination logistics including applications, timetabling, travel, training and exam papers.
  • Assist in developing new modules, examiner handbooks and assessment processes.

What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in education, training administration or project coordination, ideally within a royal college or professional education environment.
  • Proven ability to manage education programs, assessments or examinations, with experience in examination processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interpret, implement and clearly explain complex regulations, policies and requirements.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, research and report-writing skills, with sound problem-solving capability.
  • Confidence using LMS platforms, CRM systems, databases and digital learning tools.
  • Experience supporting or advising governance committees and managing delegated administrative responsibilities (highly regarded).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Education, Business Administration or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the Australian health system is advantageous.
