About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Frensham Schools , you will lead the strategic development and delivery of fundraising initiatives aligned with Frensham Schools’ long-term vision. You will develop and mentor a high-performing team, cultivate meaningful relationships, and unlock new opportunities to support the future of Frensham Schools.
This is more than a leadership role. It is about building relationships – not transactions – and is a chance to become an integral part of the Frensham Schools community , where collaboration, authenticity, and shared purpose are at the heart of everything they do.
In this pivotal leadership role you will:
- Develop a compelling Case for Support and execute a strategic fundraising roadmap across bursaries, endowment and capital building funds
- Build and lead a team of dedicated philanthropy professionals
- Cultivate high-trust relationships with donors, ensuring discretion and respect for privacy
- Engage with Old Girls, parents of former students, and other members of the Frensham Schools community to grow philanthropic support
- Collaborate with the Foundation Board, Alumni, and Marketing & Engagement Team
- Leverage digital platforms and data insights to inform donor engagement
- Effectively manage budgets and report on all fundraising activities

You are a strategic, inspiring leader with a passion for philanthropy and community engagement with a proven track record in fundraising leadership. You thrive in environments where relationships matter and purpose drives performance.
What you’ll bring
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Financial literacy with confidence to discuss endowments, investments, and philanthropic structures
- Experience in education, philanthropy, or the not-for-profit sector
- A deep understanding of relationship-first stewardship best practice
- Experience within high-performing teams with a culture of collaboration
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and technical expertise in fundraising systems and analytics
- High emotional intelligence, discretion and authenticity
- A genuine alignment with the vision, mission, and values of Frensham Schools
