About the Role
As the Direct Marketing Specialist , you will lead the strategy and execution of CHFF’s Single Giving program - spanning Direct Mail, Acquisition, and Gifts in Wills - across Australia, the US, and Canada.
Reporting to the Global Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications, you’ll oversee integrated fundraising campaigns that inspire action. This includes developing compelling multi-channel appeals, supporter journeys, and acquisition programs that drive growth, deepen loyalty, and deliver lasting impact.
This is a hands-on and strategic role, blending creativity with data-driven decision-making to create campaigns that genuinely change lives.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of CHFF’s direct mail appeals and Single Giving strategy
- Manage end-to-end campaign delivery, including creative briefing, content coordination, data segmentation, mail house management, and rollout
- Analyse campaign performance to uncover insights and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Design and test new approaches to donor acquisition, retention, and engagement across mail and digital
- Build engaging supporter journeys that strengthen stewardship and increase lifetime value
- Work collaboratively with fundraising, digital, and content teams to deliver a seamless supporter experience
- Manage agency and supplier relationships to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget
- Experienced direct marketing professional, ideally within the Not-for-Profit sector
- Skilled in managing end-to-end direct mail and multi-channel campaigns
- Confident analysing data and translating insights into practical strategies
- Strong project manager with the ability to coordinate multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Excellent communicator with a donor-centric mindset
- Collaborative, creative, and motivated by purpose
- Experience working across international NFP markets (Australia, US, Canada) is highly desirable
