About the role
You will be report to the Global Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications and collaborate closely across a small, tight-knit team.
Your focus will be on the execution of the CHFF Direct Mail strategy (including warm, acquisition and Gifts in Will appeals), overseeing integrated fundraising campaigns that inspire action.
- Develop compelling multi-channel appeals, supporter journeys, and acquisition programs that drive growth, deepen loyalty, and deliver lasting impact.
- Project manage direct mail campaigns aligning with strategic objectives and budget from end-to-end (from appeal case studies, mail house management, generating multi-channel campaign assets, data segmentation and post-campaign analysis to identify future opportunities).
- Design and test new approaches to donor acquisition, retention, and engagement across mail and digital in order to support fundraising growth.
- Work collaboratively with fundraising, digital, and content teams to deliver a seamless supporter experience, and engaging supporter journeys that strengthen stewardship and increase lifetime value.
- Manage agency and supplier relationships to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
The successful candidate
You will thrive in a small, agile team environment and be able to collaborate closely while also being comfortable managing your own workflow.
You’ll be experienced in working in mission-driven organisations, and passionate about helping restore the health and dignity of women in Ethiopia.
- Relevant qualification in Marketing or Fundraising and/or experience in fundraising direct mail, managing end-to-end direct mail and multi-channel campaigns.
- Data-savviness, with the ability to turn insights into practical strategies.
- Exceptional time management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Excellent communicator with a donor-centric mindset and a collaborative, and creative working style.
