About the Role
As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting all business areas including events, membership, professional development, technical resources, and product offerings by delivering high-quality marketing campaigns and communication initiatives that elevate IPWEA-QNT’s brand, increase engagement, and support business growth.

Day-to-day, you’ll be hands-on in delivering engaging digital content, drafting and scheduling social media posts, coordinating the production of promotional materials, updating website and newsletter content, and managing communication timelines to ensure campaigns run smoothly. You’ll also liaise regularly with suppliers, assist with event logistics and collateral, monitor analytics to track performance, and collaborate across departments to align messaging and brand consistency.

To be successful, you will have:
  • Proven experience across marketing and communications, preferably within a membership association.
  • Proven ability to deliver integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences.
  • Experience using email marketing platforms e.g. Campaign Monitor, Hubspot, Survey Monkey, website CMS, and social scheduling tools.
  • Familiarity with business system, CRM and database-driven tools including M365, iMIS, Monday.com, EventsAir, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
  • High level of creativity and visual storytelling.
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication plans to support business units across events, training, membership, technical products and services.
  • Coordinate and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including EDMs, social media, digital ads, printed collateral, and website content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and strategic promotion of key programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee the IPWEA-QNT website content and coordinate timely updates across all sections.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of our fortnightly newsletter.
  • Coordinate event promotion including pre-event marketing, onsite collateral, and post-event coverage.
  • Support the creation of visual assets including flyers, infographics, videos, and branded templates (using Canva or equivalent).
  • Maintain and grow our social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube) in line with content calendar and strategic goals.
