Every day, our Clown Doctors and Laughter Care Specialists bring joy, warmth and moments of relief to people in hospitals and aged care – transforming environments that can often feel frightening or isolating. Last year alone, our programs supported over 300,000 people nationwide.
  
Clown Doctors Australia are seeking an experienced and proactive Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead business development and drive growth in their corporate partnerships program. This role is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing new high-value partnerships - building a strong pipeline and delivering strategic revenue growth for the organisation.
  
About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, this outward-facing role is responsible for growing and securing new corporate partnerships. This will be achieved through reviewing foundations, building on them, and proactively growing all levels of the corporate partnerships pipeline to gain significant strategic and financial support for the organisation.

This role sits within the Marketing and Fundraising team at Clown Doctors Australia. The organisation is seeking an individual holding a depth of Growth and Business Development experience to lead the national expansion and drive market engagement.
   
In this pivotal role, you will:
  • Identify and secure new revenue opportunities in corporate sponsorships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective partners to drive business growth.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and proposals to support business expansion.
  • Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and improve products/services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to embed sales and marketing strategies across all product teams.
  • Represent Clown Doctors Australia at key events to enhance brand presence and sector leadership.
  • Foster a high-performing, purpose-driven team culture grounded in accountability and impact.
  • Demonstrate success in securing major corporate partnerships and driving partnership growth.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing capability at a senior level.
About You

This is an exciting opportunity for someone motivated by growth and ready to contribute to the ongoing impact of Clown Doctors Australia through high-value corporate partnerships.
You have:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a strategic mindset for operational execution.
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and experience with corporate sponsorships, training, membership, and events
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and proactively address challenges.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to think strategically and execute operationally.
  • Clear examples of previous partnership wins and business development achievements.
  • Not-for-profit experience (desirable).
