The Smith Family is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Community Fundraising Manager to lead its mass market fundraising strategy, drive supporter engagement, and deliver high-performing community and peer-to-peer campaigns.

As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we’re expanding our national fundraising footprint, and this role is central to that journey.
About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing Group Manager, this is a senior and strategic role responsible for shaping and delivering The Smith Family’s Community Fundraising and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) strategy. You’ll lead the design, development, and execution of fundraising events and digital campaigns, as well as optimise supporter journeys and fundraising platforms to improve retention and acquisition outcomes.
With oversight of one direct report and a broader network of internal and external collaborators, you’ll help build a culture of innovation, inclusion, and impact across our fundraising team.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Campaign Development
Lead the national community fundraising and P2P strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and income targets. Design creative, engaging campaigns and supporter journeys that inspire action and loyalty. - Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Coach and support the Community Fundraising Coordinator, lead cross-functional collaboration, and cultivate strong internal and external partnerships—including corporate supporters and community champions. - Performance Reporting & Innovation
Manage budgets, report on campaign performance, and analyse data to inform future decisions. Identify and test new fundraising ideas and platforms to diversify revenue and grow engagement.

You will bring:
- Proven experience delivering successful community fundraising and P2P campaigns
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams
- Strong budgeting, planning and reporting skills
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and work cross-functionally
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management capabilities
- Familiarity with fundraising platforms, digital campaign tools and supporter journeys
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach
