Looking for a leadership role where your work genuinely impacts people and communities? Common Equity NSW (CENSW) is seeking a motivated and experienced Coโ€‘operative Support Team (CST) Manager to lead a small team supporting community housing coโ€‘operatives across NSW.
  
CENSW is a unique, Community Housing Provider working with 31 Housing Coโ€‘operatives to deliver safe, secure and affordable housing. About the Role
   
Reporting to the Head of Co-operative Services (HCS), you will manage a team of three staff supporting 31 Coโ€‘ops and also a portfolio of directโ€‘managed properties. This role suits someone who excels in people leadership, community engagement and development, problemโ€‘solving and operational oversight.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain strong and trusted relationships with Co-ops
  • Lead tenancy support for coโ€‘operative and directโ€‘managed tenants
  • Set strategic direction and oversee operations of the CST
  • Manage team performance, processes and complaint resolution
  • Monitor and report on coโ€‘operative performance and data quality
  • Build coโ€‘operative capability through training and bestโ€‘practice support
About You
  • Experienced people leader with a track record of motivating teams
  • Background in Community Housing, Affordable Housing or similar
  • Community development/engagement experience
  • Able to act as a subject matter expert for the team
  • Strong critical thinking and problemโ€‘solving skills
  • Experience in managing diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
